Effective date: 20 September 2026 · Zensibly is a product of BINARIFY LLP, Bengaluru, India.
Please read this before you connect a broker. It is shown again inside the app before your first connection, and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Zensibly is software, not an adviser
Zensibly is a subscription software tool. It lets you connect your own broker account, view charts and positions, place your own orders, set your own risk limits, and have those limits enforced automatically. Zensibly and BINARIFY LLP are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker, portfolio manager, or algorithmic-trading provider, and do not need to be for what the software does. Nothing on this website, in the app, in emails, in support conversations or on our social channels is investment advice, a recommendation, a tip, a signal or a strategy. Charts, pivots, levels, alerts, checklists, backtests and "what-if" analyses are mechanical tools operating on market data or your own history.
2. Every trading decision is yours
You decide what, when and how much to trade. Every order placed through Zensibly — by drag, shortcut, voice command, copy/split across your accounts, or an automatic exit triggered by a rule you set — is your order, placed under your broker credentials, and you are responsible for it exactly as if you had placed it in your broker's app. Zensibly never enters a trade on its own initiative and never changes your rules for you.
3. Trading in derivatives can lose you more than you put in
Futures and options are leveraged instruments. Prices can gap, liquidity can vanish, and exchange circuit breakers can halt trading. You can lose your entire trading capital and, in some products, more than your initial margin. SEBI's study published in September 2024 found that about 93% of individual traders in equity futures and options lost money over FY2022–FY2024, with aggregate losses exceeding ₹1.8 lakh crore. Zensibly does not change the risk of any trade you take.
4. Guardrails are best-effort, not a guarantee
When a rule you set triggers, Zensibly tries to exit your positions and lock you out. That attempt can be late, partial, or fail, because:
- exchange rules do not allow plain market orders through APIs, so exits go as limit or market-protected orders that may not fill, or may fill at a worse price;
- there is always a delay between the loss happening, your broker reporting it, Zensibly detecting it, and the order reaching the exchange;
- your broker's API, token, order system or the exchange itself may be down, rate-limited or halted;
- your account may be Unarmed — you have not completed your broker's daily login in Zensibly — in which case Zensibly cannot see or act on it at all;
- your order-placement IP may not be whitelisted with your broker, in which case every order is rejected;
- a stop-loss set to "client-side only" exists only while your browser tab is open;
- Zensibly's own systems or cloud provider can fail.
Always watch your positions directly with your broker. Treat Zensibly as one layer of discipline, never as your only safeguard.
5. Lockouts: hard on some brokers, soft on others
Where a broker provides a kill-switch API (currently Dhan), a lockout is enforced by the broker and you cannot place new orders for the day. On every other broker a lockout is enforced inside Zensibly only: Zensibly will refuse to place new entries, but nothing stops you opening your broker's own app and trading. God Mode locks your Zensibly settings and broker connections until 15:30 IST; it does not lock your broker's app. The app labels each feature with the brokers and conditions it covers.
6. Data can be wrong
Positions, orders, P&L, charges and market data come from your broker and data vendors and may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Zensibly's calculations — including P&L, charges estimates, discipline scores, backtests and rule replays — can differ from your broker's or the exchange's figures. Your broker's contract note is the record of your trades. Historical, simulated or "what-if" results do not indicate future results.
7. Your broker's terms apply to your API key
You connect Zensibly with an API key issued to you by your broker under your broker's own API terms. Some brokers state that API credentials are for the account holder's own use. By using your key in Zensibly you do so by your own choice and on your own responsibility; if your broker restricts or withdraws API access, that is between you and your broker.
8. No performance claims
We do not claim, and you should not expect, that Zensibly will make you profitable, reduce your losses by any amount, or prevent every loss. Any statistics we show you are about your own behaviour (for example, your discipline streak), not about returns.
9. Not tax, legal or financial advice
Your tax obligations on trading, your eligibility to trade, and your choice of broker are matters for you and your own advisers.
10. Acknowledgement
By using Zensibly you confirm that you have read and understood this Disclaimer, that you accept the risks described, and that, subject to the limits set out in our Terms & Conditions (which do not exclude liability that Indian law does not allow us to exclude), Zensibly is not liable for trading losses arising from your trading decisions or from the best-effort nature of automated guardrails.
